This privacy policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you purchase any goods or service from Sarah Weaver or contact us through any method including, but not limited to, Email, WhatsApp, text message, Facebook and Instagram. This policy also includes the information you give us when you sign up for any promotion, free or paid, complete any assessment or consent forms, or visit our website hosted by WIX.com, www.thewellbeingnutritioinist.com. The Wellbeing Nutritionist, Sarah Weaver acts as data controller, and we are responsible for your personal data (referred to as "we", "us" or "our" in this privacy notice). We keep our privacy policy under review. The last time this was updated was in November 2025.

1. What we do
The Wellbeing Nutritionist, Sarah Weaver is a Holistic Therapist, Health Coach and Nutritionist. Sarah Weaver does not offer therapy or counselling services. Services are offered online, by telephone, in groups or face-to-face.

2. How we obtain your personal data
We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data. Any information you share with us, including health or personal details, is handled in accordance with our duty of professional confidence and the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We implement reasonable security measures to safeguard the storage of your personal data. Your information will never be sold, distributed, or leased to third parties unless we have your explicit permission or are required by law to do so.
In certain circumstances, and only where justified in the public interest or required by law (for example, to safeguard an individual, prevent a serious crime, or protect you or others from immediate harm), we may share relevant information without your consent if there is a compelling legal reason to do so.
We may, with your consent, use your personal information to send you promotional content about third parties we believe may be of genuine interest to you.

3. What are your rights?
You have the right to access, amend, delete, or request a copy of any personal data we hold that can identify you, subject to certain legal exceptions. We will respond within 21 working days of receiving your request and any necessary information from you. Our response will include details of the personal data we hold about you, including the sources from which it was obtained and the purposes for which it is being processed.
Under data protection law, and subject to exemptions, you have the right to:

4. How long we hold your confidential data
The Wellbeing Nutritionist, Sarah Weaver, keeps all personal records for (seven) 7 years. Records are processed, stored and distroyed in line with current GDPR and Data Protection Act requirements.
5. What data we collect about you
Personal data means any information capable of identifying an individual. It does not include anonymised data. We may process certain types of personal data about you as follows: identity data includes your first name and last name, address, date of birth, email address or telephone number. We are legally required to collect health related data about you in order to maintain your health and safety if you receive any in-person holistic therapy treatment or online coaching, and we may also ask you for some health information about you if you attend any in-person event or online event - this information is used to maintain your health and safety. Contact data may include your billing address, delivery address, telephone number and email address. Transaction data may include details about payments between us and other details of purchases made by you. Technical data may include your login data, internet protocol addresses, browser type and version, browser plug-in types and versions, time zone setting and location, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this site. Profile data may include your username and password, purchases or orders, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses. Usage data may include information about how you use my website, products and services. Marketing and communications data may include your preferences in receiving marketing communications from me and our third parties and communication preferences. We may also process aggregated data from your personal data, but this data does not reveal your identity and as such in itself is not personal data. An example of this is when we review your usage data to work out the percentage of website users using a specific feature of our site.

7. How we use your personal data​
The Wellbeing Nutritionist, Sarah Weaver, will only use your personal data when legally permitted.
We may use your data for the following purposes:To perform a contract or deliver a service, including digital products (free or paid); To provide you with access to any online platform, app, or content you have signed up for; To comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, such as requirements from UK HMRC; or When there is another lawful basis under UK GDPR.
We collect and store certain personal information to maintain a personal and professional relationship with you and to deliver a personalised service. This may include your identity, contact details, personal profile, marketing preferences, and a record of our communications. We are legally required to retain records for any holistic therapy session, retreat, event, or coaching session you receive from us as mentioned in section 4. The Wellbeing Nutritionist is registered with, and abides by, the FHT Code of Conduct and Professional Practice. All personal data is collected, processed, stored, and securely destroyed in accordance with current UK GDPR requirements. When you attend an in-person event or service, we may also ask if you would like to provide emergency contact details, which will only be used in the event of an emergency.

8. International transfers
Countries outside of the United Kingdom (UK) and the European Economic Area (EEA) do not always provide the same level of protection for personal data. UK data protection law restricts the transfer of personal data outside of these areas unless specific safeguards are in place. Some of our third-party service providers are based outside the UK and EEA, which means their processing of your personal data may involve a transfer of data internationally. Whenever we transfer your personal data outside of the UK or EEA, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is protected by implementing at least one of the following safeguards:

These include, but are not limited to: Google – file sharing and analytics, Stripe – payment processing, Calendly – appointment scheduling, Facebook – advertising and blog/video post comments, Instagram – advertising and blog/video post comments, Cognito Forms – data collection forms, Jot Forms - data collection forms, Eventbrite – event management, BookRetreats – retreat listings and bookings, YouTube, and Canva. We may also use additional suppliers as necessary to support our business operations.
